We’ve said it before but language can be misleading. We buy a ticket to the theater and know not to bring a wrench. The seat is not ours. We rent it for the time of the show.

Renting theater seats might be the correct way to say it, but prices can feel like you’ve really bought something to take home.

To see great theater at bargain prices, I recommend your joining TheaterMania.com. We recently saw Frank Langella in The Father at The Signature Theater. It cost $25 per ticket. Mezzanine, but great view. Nice price for the 2016 Tony Winner for Best Leading Actor in a Play.

RentaLife will begin to offer short theater reviews for select shows that fit the budget. Unfortunately, The Father has past its run, but we’ll look for others. You can still catch Frank Langella in the Americans. Next season on FX. As a subscriber, you can get the FXNOW app free (http://www.fxnetworks.com/fxnow).
